If you are a band who wants to participate, we need your information! We have roughly 25 albums ready to go, and I would like to launch with at least 50. Please fill out the sheets I’ve sent you, if you’ve received one and get them back to me ASAP!

Welcome to the Kawartha Music Archive Project. Born out of Dogbus Music, a movement that ran in Lindsay from 2000 to 2007, the Kawartha Music Archive Project aims to celebrate the rich musical history of the City of Kawartha Lakes. Each week, this site will feature in full, for free, an album or recording from the past, showcasing the bands, artists and acts that have called the City of Kawartha Lakes home.

Its goal is to capture every recording, story, photo, poster and piece of history to come out of the City of Kawartha Lakes Music scene. The obvious base for this project will be the Dogbus Music Scene which flourished from 2000 to 2007, but aims to include all bands from pre-2000 as well as support all local happenings in post 2007.
